Institutional Nature & Authority

Important Clarification

The National Council for Telecommunications & Digital Infrastructure operates as an independent advisory and policy dialogue platform. The Council:

XDoes NOT exercise executive, legislative, or statutory regulatory powers
XDoes NOT issue legally binding regulations, licenses, or authorizations
XDoes NOT represent or act on behalf of any governmental authority
XDoes NOT conduct enforcement actions or regulatory investigations

Official regulatory authority for telecommunications remains with the respective national telecommunications regulatory agencies and competent governmental authorities in each jurisdiction.

Advisory & Consultative Function

The Council's activities are limited to:

Facilitating policy dialogue and strategic discussions
Publishing research, analysis, and policy recommendations
Providing advisory inputs to regulatory bodies upon request
Coordinating international cooperation initiatives
Convening stakeholder consultations on telecommunications matters

Recommendations and publications issued by the Council are advisory in nature and do not constitute legal requirements or binding obligations.
